The Basement Bars
My friend recently informed me he would be purchasing a a house along with his new fiance-to-be. As would be anticipated, we spoke with regards to the region he would be living in, early morning commute, the property, and if they planned to improve anything. My buddy then asked what I might do with a basement if I had one, and just how I felt about basement bars (actually I started the conversation on that). My friend informed me the basement was moist and obscure, although it was huge, and could probably be converted into an incredible man cave. The main worry was how to pull off constructing it.
He didn't have a lot of junk that needed to be stored, meaning he had plenty of choices in relation to what he could do. He could leave it bare and use it should he have any upcoming storage needs, but that option wasn't very interesting. While spending a bit of time on the search engines, we promptly realized the sheer number of directions one could go in terms of doing something fun with their basement. And the basement bar was not his only option; he had the cash to build a video game room, baseball den, below ground lair; the possibilities were never ending.
